On Saturday night, Colby Lewis (10-13) will be on the mound for the Texas Rangers when they face Jered Weaver (17-8) and the Los Angeles Angels.

Colby Lewis had one of his better starts of the year on Sunday when he beat the Atlanta Braves at home. He gave up just one run in seven innings of work that day while walking one and striking out two. Lewis now has a 5.12 ERA on the year and he has given up a whopping 196 hits in 158.1 innings on the mound.

Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick is 9-for-30 against Lewis in his career with a double, two home runs and four RBI. Brennan Boesch is 5-for-23 against him with three home runs and six RBI.

Big right-hander Jered Weaver won his second game in a row last Saturday when he defeated the Houston Astros at home. He went seven innings in that outing and gave up just one run on four hits while striking out a season-high 12 batters and walking one. Weaver has only given up 179 hits in 200.1 innings this season and he currently has a 3.50 ERA.

Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus is 23-for-72 against Weaver in his career with four doubles, a triple and two home runs. All-Star third baseman Adrian Beltre is just 16-for-76 against him with a walk and 15 strikeouts.
