Rookie starter Nick Martinez (1-8) hasn't won a game since way back on May 14, but he will look to change that when the Texas Rangers face left-hander Dallas Keuchel (10-7) and the Houston Astros on Sunday afternoon.

Nick Martinez lost his second game in a row on Monday when he was defeated by the Chicago White Sox on the road. He gave up five earned runs in five innings of work that day while walking three batters and striking out four. He currently has a high 5.31 ERA and he has given up 99 hits in 83 innings on the mound this season.

Astros third baseman Matt Dominguez has two hits in two at-bats against Martinez with no walks an an RBI. None of the Astros have faced Martinez more than two times.

Dallas Keuchel was impressive yet against for the Astros on Tuesday when he went seven strong innings against the Philadelphia Phillies. He ended up with a no decision for his efforts in that game after giving up just one run and striking out four. Keuchel has only given up eight home runs in 143.1 innings this year and he now has a very good 2.89 ERA.

Rangers outfielder Alex Rios has five hits in 15 at-bats versus Keuchel in his career with two doubles and two RBI. Shortstop Elvis Andrus is just 4-for-22 against him with one walk and two strikeouts.
