Robbie Ross will be going for his first win since mid-April when he and the Texas Rangers go up against Juan Nicasio and the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.

Robbie Ross had his worst start of the season last Wednesday when he gave up a season-high 10 runs (six earned) against the Oakland Athletics and took his second loss of the year. He went just 3.1 innings in that game and gave up 11 hits while striking out two and walking one. His ERA soared from 2.45 to 3.86 and he's now given up 38 hits in 32.2 innings.

First baseman Justin Morneau has not been able to figure out Ross yet, going just 1-for-7 against him with three strikeouts. None of the current Rockies have an extra-base hit against the lefty.

Juan Nicasio had his best start of the year so far and picked up his third win of the season when he beat the New York Mets last Thursday. He went seven shutout innings in that outing and scattered three hits while striking out two and walking just one. His ERA dipped to 4.19 on the season and he now has a 1.282 WHIP.

Prince Fielder has only faced Nicasio three times so far in his career, but he has shown that he can hit the right-hander by getting two hits, including a double.
