Saturday afternoon, the Texas Rangers will give the ball to Miles Mikolas (1 - 3, 8.54 ERA) as they square off against the Cleveland Indians and T.J. House (1 - 2, 4.50 ERA). Mikolas makes his 6^th start as House makes his 10^th start and 11th appearance.

Miles Mikolas took another loss the last time out after a brutal start by the young righty. In the defeat, Mikolas gave up 8 runs on 7 hits in 4.2 innings as he walked 4 and struck out 1. It was the 4^th time in 5 starts that Mikolas had given up 3 or more runs in less than 6 innings. Before coming up from Triple-A, Mikolas was 5 - 1 with a 3.22 ERA in 6 starts and 10 relief appearances.

Mikolas has only seen two of the Cleveland hitters in the past. With Michael Bourn out, only Jason Giambi (1 for 1) will have seen Mikolas before.

T.J. House will get another shot to show what he has in the big leagues. His last start was on July 21^st and he came away with a no-decision in that outing after allowing 3 runs and 6 hits in 5 innings of work. He walked 3 and struck out 2 in that game. House had given up 3 runs in each of his last 3 outings as well as a home run in 2 of his last 3 outings. If he doesn't want to return to the Minors, he'll have to keep the score low.

This season, House has already started against the Rangers but it wasn't a good outing for him. He gave up 6 runs on 6 hits (including a homer) in just 3.1 innings.
