Texas Rangers starter Colby Lewis (7-8) will attempt to start his first winning streak of the year on Tuesday night when he faces off against lefty John Danks (9-6) and the Chicago White Sox.

Last Wednesday against the New York Yankees, Colby Lewis pitched a solid seven innings and ended up picking up the victory. He gave up just two runs on four hits in that outing and walked two batters while striking out four. His ERA went down with that win, but it is still a very high 5.98 through 19 starts.

White Sox slugger Adam Dunn has three hits in his eight at-bats against Lewis with a walk and a solo home run. Veteran Paul Konerko has just four hits in 22 at-bats against him with three walks and six strikeouts.

John Danks gave up four runs in five innings against the Detroit Tigers last Thursday, but he took a no decision rather than a loss in a game the White Sox won 7-4. He gave up seven hits in that outing and walked four batters while striking out two. He now has a 4.50 ERA on the year and he has already given up 19 home runs in 136 innings.

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is just 7-for-31 against Danks in his career, but he has hit two home runs off of him. Shortstop Elvis Andrus is 6-for-16 against him with a double and two RBI.
