25-year-old Nick Tepesch will be going for his fourth win of the year when he and the Texas Rangers go up against seven-game winner Chris Tillman and the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday night.

Last Friday, Nick Tepesch had his best start of the season by pitching 7.1 innings against the Minnesota Twins without giving up a run. He allowed just three hits in that game and struck out five batters while walking two. He is now 3-3 on the season through eight starts and he has a decent 3.65 ERA.

Orioles outfielder David Lough has one hit in his three career at-bats against Tepesch with no strikeouts. None of the other players on the Orioles have faced the right-hander.

Chris Tillman won his second straight game and his seventh overall last Friday over the Tampa Bay Rays. He pitched eight strong innings in that start and only gave up one run on four hits while walking one and striking out two. Tillman has a 7-4 record through 17 starts for the Orioles, but his 5.6 strikeouts per nine innings is his lowest strikeout rate since 2010.

Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus seems to like facing Tillman, going 5-for-11 against him in his career with a double, three walks and an RBI. Veteran Carlos Pena has just one hit against Tillman in nine at-bats and he has been struck out by the right-hander three times.
