On Tuesday night, Hisashi Iwakuma will be looking to pick up his third straight win when he and the Seattle Mariners take on David Price and the Tampa Bay Rays.

Lefty David Price lost for the third time this season when the Baltimore Orioles were able to beat him last Thursday. He could only make it through five innings in that game and gave up three runs on nine hits while striking out a season-low three batters and walking one. He now has a 4.53 ERA this season, which is more than a run worse than his career ERA.

Robinson Cano has faced Price more than anyone else on the Mariners and is 15-for-57 against him with a double, a triple and a home run. John Buck has done well against Price over the years by getting four hits in 11 at-bats with one home run.

Hisashi Iwakuma picked up his second win in two starts by pitching eight shutout innings against the Kansas City Royals last week. He allowed just four hits in the start and walked none while striking out seven Royals. His ERA through two games is a solid 2.45 and he has only given up one walk in 14.2 innings.

No one on the Rays has hit a home run off of Iwakuma, but Ben Zobrist is 4-for-6 with a double against him.
