The Tampa Bay Rays will send Cesar Ramos to the mound on Monday to face former Cy Young award-winner Felix Hernandez and the Seattle Mariners.

Cesar Ramos did well in his start against the Baltimore Orioles last week when he went 5.2 solid innings in what what eventually a no decision. He gave up just three hits and two runs in that outing while striking out four and walking two. He's been used both out of the bullpen and as a starter this season and has a very good 2.96 ERA.

Robinson Cano has faced Ramos nine times so far in his career and has three hits and an RBI against him. Michael Saunders is 0-for-2 with a walk against the 29-year-old.

Felix Hernandez picked up yet another no decision in his start against the Oakland Athletics last Wednesday. He went 6.1 innings in that game and gave up three earned runs on a season-high 11 hits while striking out zero and walking two. King Felix still has a solid 2.73 ERA on the year, but he hasn't looked like his usual dominant self in his last three or four starts.

David DeJesus has done very well against Hernandez over the years, batting .323 in 31 at-bats with three doubles, a home run and five RBI. Ben Zobrist is just 3-for-25 against Hernandez with nine strikeouts.
