St. Louis Cardinals starter Shelby Miller will try to pick up his first postseason win when he faces Ryan Vogelsong and the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night.

In Game 4 of the NLDS, Shelby Miller went 5.2 innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road and ended up with a no decision. He gave up two runs on five base hits in that game while walking three batters and striking out four.

This will be the first time all season that Miller will get a chance to face the Giants' offense. First baseman Brandon Belt is hitless in seven career at-bats against Miller with one walk and three strikeouts. Outfielder Hunter Pence is 2-for-7 against him with a solo home run and a strikeout.

Ryan Vogelsong pitched well in Game 4 of the NLDS against the Washington Nationals and finished with a no decision. He went 5.2 innings in that game and allowed just one run while walking two batters and striking out four.

Vogelsong made two starts against the Cardinals this season and went 0-1 with a 4.05 ERA. One hitter on the Cardinals who has done well against Vogelsong is third baseman Matt Carpenter, who is 5-for-12 against him in his career with a triple and an RBI. Catcher Yadier Molina is just 4-for-25 against the right-hander with two walks and a strikeout.
