Wednesday afternoon, the St. Louis Cardinals will take the field behind Adam Wainwright (15 -8, 2.52 ERA) as they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates and Jeff Locke (5 – 3, 3.69 ERA).  Wainwright makes his 27th start as Locke makes his 16th start.

Last season, Locke was 1 – 1 with a 3.38 ERA in 3 starts against the Cardinals.  St. Louis is batting .275 against Locke with 11 hits and 6 RBIs in 40 at-bats.
