Big right-hander Lance Lynn (14-8) will try to extend his current undefeated streak to seven games when he and the St. Louis Cardinals face veteran Kyle Lohse (12-8) and the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night.

Lance Lynn went six innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday and ended up with a no decision. He gave up three earned runs on eight hits in that start while walking two batters and striking out three. Lynn has a solid 2.85 ERA this year and he has only given up a total of eight home runs in 170.2 innings on the mound.

Brewers outfielder Gerardo Parra has six hits in his 12 at-bats against Lynn with a double, two triples and a solo home run. Third baseman Aramis Ramirez is just 2-for-18 against him with two walks and three strikeouts.

On Sunday, Kyle Lohse gave up seven earned runs in 5.2 innings of work against the San Francisco Giants and ended up taking the loss. He allowed nine base hits in that game and walked two batters while striking out three. Lohse has only walked 40 batters in 171.1 innings this season and currently has a 3.68 ERA.

Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday is 10-for-26 against Lohse in his career with a double, a home run and four RBI. Second baseman Mark Ellis is just 3-for-18 against him with five strikeouts.
