St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Lance Lynn is coming off of perhaps his best start of the year and will look to use that momentum when he faces Zack Greinke and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night.

On Monday, Lance Lynn had an excellent outing against the Colorado Rockies by pitching eight scoreless innings and picking up his eighth win of the year. He allowed just three hits in that game and struck out seven batters without walking anyone. Lynn has an 8-5 record for the Cardinals this season and he has a solid 2.90 ERA to go along with it.

Dodgers second baseman A.J. Ellis has just one hit in his seven at-bats against Lynn with an RBI and four strikeouts. No one on the Dodgers has hit a home run off of Lynn yet.

In his matchup against the Kansas City Royals on Monday, Zack Greinke had a rough outing by his standards and ended up suffering his fourth loss of the year. He allowed five runs on 11 hits in 5.2 innings while striking out four and walking zero. Greinke now has a 9-4 record and he has struck out 101 batters in 96.2 innings.

Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday has six hits in his 20 at-bats against Greinke with two home runs and three RBI. Veteran Jhonny Peralta is 11-for-47 against him with five walks and eight strikeouts.
