On Sunday, All-Star Adam Wainwright (20-9) will be going for his sixth win in a row for the St. Louis Cardinals when they take on Josh Collmenter (11-8) and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Against the Chicago Cubs on Monday, Adam Wainwright pitched seven scoreless innings and picked up his 20th win of the season. He gave up just three hits in that start and struck out eight batters while walking only one. Wainwright has a fantastic 2.38 ERA on the year and he has only given up 184 hits in 227 innings of work.

Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero is 5-for-17 against Wainwright in his career with two walks and a solo home run. Cliff Pennington is hitless in nine plate appearances against the right-hander with no walks and four strikeouts.

Josh Collmenter picked up his 11th win of the year on Monday when he defeated the Minnesota Twins on the road. He gave up two runs in 6.1 innings that day while walking one batter and striking out five. Collmenter has a solid 3.57 ERA on the season despite only striking out 112 batters in his 171.1 innings on the mound.

Cardinals catcher A.J. Pierzynski has two hits in five at-bats against Collmenter with a double and no strikeouts. Second baseman Mark Ellis is just 3-for-14 against him in his career with a walk and four strikeouts.
