Hisashi Iwakuma will be going for his third win of the season for the Seattle Mariners when they face Colby Lewis and the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night.

In his third start of the season, Hisashi Iwakuma pitched well yet against but ended up with a no decision against the Tampa Bay Rays in a game the Mariners ended up losing 2-1. Iwakuma went eight shutout innings for the second straight outing in that game and gave up just four hits while striking out five and walking none. He is 2-0 with a 1.59 ERA through 22.2 innings on the year.

Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre has eight hits in 22 at-bats against Iwakuma with a double, two home runs and four RBI. Mitch Moreland is just 2-for-18 against the Japanese right-hander with three strikeouts.

Colby Lewis pitched seven shutout innings against the Houston Astros last week and ended up picking up his third win of the season. He pitch 5.2 innings in that outing and scattered seven hits while striking out a season-high eight batters and walking two. It was a good start for him, but he still has a 4.99 ERA on the season and has given up a whopping 45 hits in 30.2 innings.

Kyle Seager has done well against Lewis on his career by getting six hits, including a double and a homer, in 14 at-bats.
