Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez will be on the mound Sunday afternoon and will face Ricky Nolasco and the Minnesota Twins.

Felix Hernandez picked up his first win in over a month last week when he was able to defeat the Tampa Bay Rays in Seattle. He pitched 6.2 innings in that outing and gave up four runs on eight hits while walking none and striking out seven. He now has a 4-1 record and a 3.03 ERA on the year and he's given up just three home runs in 59.1 innings.

Twins first baseman Joe Mauer has a .314 batting average against Hernandez in 35 at-bats with four doubles, a home run and six RBI. Jason Kubel is just 3-for-22 against him with five strikeouts.

Ricky Nolasco ended up with a no decision against the Boston Red Sox after pitching six decent innings in the game. He gave up three earned runs on six hits in the outing while striking out six and walking one. He has a 1.500 WHIP on the season now due in large part to the 64 hits he has given up in 50.2 innings.

Outfielder Corey Hart has five hits in 15 at-bats against Nolasco and is the only Mariner with a home run against the veteran right-hander. First baseman Justin Smoak has just one single in six at-bats against Nolasco.
