On Sunday afternoon, top prospect Taijuan Walker will make his fourth career start for the Seattle Mariners when they face right-hander Hector Noesi and the Chicago White Sox.

Taijuan Walker made his first start of the season last Monday and ended up getting the win over the Houston Astros on the road. He pitched six innings in that outing and gave up three earned runs on five hits while walking two batters and striking out six. He threw 58 of his 94 pitches for strikes in that start and gave up two home runs while hitting one batter.

All of the Mariners will be seeing Walker for the first time on Sunday afternoon.

Hector Noesi made his 18th start of the season on Tuesday and ended up taking the loss against the Los Angeles Angels on the road. He ended up pitching five innings in that outing and gave up five earned runs on just three hits while walking a season-high seven batters and striking out seven. Noesi now has a 2-6 record with a 5.33 ERA and he has given up 86 hits in 76 innings of work.

Mariners outfielder Dustin Ackley has two hits in his three at-bats against Noesi with a double and two RBI. All-Star Robinson Cano hasn't been able to get a hit in any of his six at-bats against the right-hander.
