On Sunday afternoon, Tim Lincecum will go for his eighth win of the year when he and the San Francisco Giants go up against Jesse Hahn and the San Diego Padres.

Tim Lincecum followed up his no-hitter with another solid outing on Tuesday when he beat the St. Louis Cardinals at home. He pitched eight scoreless innings in that game and only gave up four hits while striking out six batters and walking two. Through 17 starts, Lincecum is 7-5 with a 4.08 ERA and he is striking out eight batters per nine innings.

Padres third baseman Chase Headley has a .265 batting average against Lincecum with four doubles, four home runs and nine RBI. Outfielder Cameron Maybin has just four hits in 22 at-bats against the right-hander with seven strikeouts.

Rookie Jesse Hahn won his fourth consecutive game last Sunday when he defeated the Cincinnati Reds at home. He pitched five scoreless innings in that start and gave up three hits while striking out a season-high nine batters and walking two. He has struck out 36 batters in 27.2 innings of work this season and he currently has a 1.95 ERA.
