Left-hander Madison Bumgarner will go for win number 11 when he and the San Francisco Giants take on Nathan Eovaldi and the Miami Marlins on Friday night.

In his last start, Madison Bumgarner was able to go 6.1 innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks and picked up his 10th win of the year. He gave up four runs on 10 hits in that outing while walking no one and striking out five. In the first half, Bumgarner went 10-7 with a 3.47 ERA and he struck out 128 batters in 127 innings.

Marlins All-Star Giancarlo Stanton has seven hits in his 11 at-bats against Bumgarner with five doubles and three RBI. Veteran Reed Johnson is just 2-for-12 against him with a walk and five strikeouts.

Nathan Eovaldi had a solid outing against the Arizona Diamondbacks in his last start, but he took the no decision in a game the Diamondbacks ended up winning 4-3. He pitched seven innings in that game and gave up just one run on four hits while striking out two and walking one. Eovaldi is currently 5-4 on the season and has only given up eight home runs on 119.2 innings.

Giants outfielder Hunter Pence is 5-for-10 against Eovaldi in his career with three doubles, a home run and five RBI. Pablo Sandoval has six hits in eight at-bats versus the right-hander with three doubles and six RBI.
