On Sunday, Tim Lincecum (9-7) will go for his first win since July 11 when he and the San Francisco Giants face off against Danny Duffy (6-10) and the Kansas City Royals.

Tim Lincecum had a decent start against the Milwaukee Brewers on the road on Tuesday, but he had to settle for a no decision in a game the Brewers ended up winning 4-3. Lincecum went six innings in that start and allowed three runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out eight. On the season, he now has a 4.22 ERA and he has struck out 124 hitters in 134.1 innings.

Royals veteran Omar Infante has five hits in his 14 at-bats against Lincecum with two doubles and four strikeouts. Raul Ibanez has just one hit in 16 at-bats against him with no walks and five strikeouts.

25-year-old Danny Duffy only made it through five innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, but he still came away with the win. He allowed one run on three hits in that game and struck out seven hitters while walking just one. Duffy has an excellent 2.39 ERA this year and he has only given up 79 hits in 109 innings on the mound.

The Giants' left-handed hitters probably won't be looking forward to facing Duffy, who has held lefties to a .146 batting average in 82 at-bats.
