Madison Bumgarner and Alex Wood will both be looking to end their losing streaks when the San Francisco Giants face the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.

Madison Bumgarner lost his third game in a row last Monday when he surrendered five runs (four earned) against the San Diego Padres. He went just five innings in that game and gave up seven hits while striking out five and walking a season-high four batters. His ERA is still a decent 3.74, but the 12 hits per nine innings that he is giving up is a career worst.

Justin Upton is one Braves' hitter who loves to face Bumgarner, going 9-for-20 with a double, a homer and four walks against him in his career. Dan Uggla has just one hit in 18 at-bats against the 24-year-old lefty with eight strikeouts.

Alex Wood lost his third straight start on Tuesday when he lost to the Miami Marlins on the road. He gave up a season-high seven and 10 hits in that game while striking out just two and walking one. His ERA jumped up from 1.54 to 2.92 in the loss, but he is still striking out 8.3 batters per nine innings on the season.

None of the Giants' hitters have faced Wood more than once, but they can expect to see a 90-94 mph fastball with excellent movement and a curveball that he will throw about 20% of the time.
