38-year-old Tim Hudson will make his first start as a San Francisco Giant on Wednesday as they will take on Trevor Cahill (0-1) and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tim Hudson's 2013 season was going pretty well until he fractured his ankle in late-July, which took him out for the rest of the year. He ended his last season with the Braves with a 3.97 ERA after pitching just over 131 innings.

Of the current Diamondbacks, Miguel Montero has the most career plate appearances (14) against Hudson, but has hit just .231/.286/.308 with a double and an RBI. Outfielder A.J. Pollock is the only Diamondback to hit a homer off of the righty.
