It looks like Jesse Hahn will get the start for the San Diego Padres on Saturday afternoon and he will have to go up against New York Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler.

24-year-old Jesse Hahn made his first Major League start back on June 3 and ended up taking the loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He went just 3.2 innings in that game and allowed four runs on six hits while striking out five and walking two. The big right-hander has had a lot more success down in the minors this season, going 2-1 through 38.1 innings with 33 strikeouts and just one home run given up.

The Mets will be facing Hahn for the first time on Saturday.

On Sunday, Zack Wheeler had his worst start of the season when the San Francisco Giants were able to score four runs off of him in just 3.2 innings of work. He allowed six hits in that game and struck out six while walking two. On the season, Wheeler is now 2-6 with a 4.19 ERA, but he has only given up five home runs in 73 innings.

Veteran Chris Denorfia has two hits against Wheeler in three at-bats with a double and a strikeout. Yonder Alonso is 1-for-2 against him with a walk and no strikeouts. No one on the Giants has faced Wheeler more than three times.
