Kyle Lohse will be looking to pick up his fourth win of the season when he and the Milwaukee Brewers face Tyson Ross and the San Diego Padres Wednesday night.

Tyson Ross had his best start of the season last Friday when he got the win against the San Francisco Giants. He was able to go eight shutout innings in that game and gave up just four hits while striking out nine and walking one. He dropped his ERA to 2.13 and now has an 8.9 K/9 ratio on the season.

No one on the Brewers has faced Ross more than four times, but Lyle Overbay has had success against him in limited plate appearances by getting two hits and an RBI in three at-bats.

Kyle Lohse was able to win his third start in a row when he beat the Pittsburgh Pirates last Friday. He went 6.1 innings in that outing and gave up one earned run on four hits while striking out five and walking three. Lohse now has a 2.67 ERA and a 1.111 WHIP on the season and is striking out nearly nine batters per nine innings.

Nick Hundley has only faced Lohse six times so far in his career, but he has two home runs and four RBI against the right-hander. Lohse has done well against shortstop Everth Cabrera, though, by striking him out six times while giving up just one hit.
