You can't get much hotter than Andrew Cashner (2-1) in his last two outings and the ace looks to make it three in a row when the Padres match up with the red hot Brewers and their budding superstar Wily Peralta (2-0). Cashner followed up a near no hitter versus the Tigers on April 11th with 7 1/3 innings of 1 run ball against Colorado his last time out. The pitcher has allowed just 4 runs all year to lower his ERA to 1.27.

Cashner looks to stifle the Brewers just as he did last year by earning the victory in his only start against the team. On that July 22nd day Cashner pitched 6 innings and gave up 3 runs while striking out six to push his career record against Milwaukee to 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA. Brewers star Ryan Braun has whiffed 2 of the 3 times he's faced Cashner and the entire roster has just a .133 average lifetime.
