On Saturday, July 26, the San Diego Padres will face the Atlanta Braves in the second game of their four game series. The Padres will send Odrisamer Despaigne (2-1, 1.31 ERA) to the mound to face the Braves' Julio Teheran (9-6, 2.64 ERA).

Despaigne is coming off a no-decision against the New York Mets on Sunday. He pitched a solid 7.2 innings, only giving up one run on two hits while striking out five and walking three. Despite having not gotten a win since June, Despaigne has been outstanding. He's given up more than one earned run only once in his five starts. He'll look to get some more run support when he faces an unfamiliar Braves team.

On the mound for the Braves comes the young lefty, Teheran. Teheren also pitched well in his last start when he faced the Marlins on Monday. Teheran pitched seven innings while striking out 11 and walking one while giving up one earned run. However, the Braves couldn't hold on to the lead after Teheran left the game. Teheran will look to keep that momentum going when he faces the Padres.
