On Saturday afternoon, Charlie Morton will be going for his third win in a row when the Pittsburgh Pirates go up against 37-year-old Randy Wolf and the Miami Marlins.

On Monday, Charlie Morton had one of his best starts of the season when he was able to beat the Chicago Cubs at home. He went seven innings in that game and allowed just one earned run on six hits while striking out seven and walking one. In 80.1 innings this year, Norton has 61 strikeouts and has only allowed four home runs.

Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton is 5-for-11 against Morton in his career with two RBI and three strikeouts. None of the current Marlins have been able to hit a home run off of him yet.

Veteran Randy Wolf last for the second time this season when he was defeated by the Chicago Cubs on the road last Saturday. He went 5.2 innings in that outing and allowed four runs on nine hits while walking one and striking out two. Through five starts for the Marlins this season, he has a 1-2 record with a 4.15 ERA, but he has only walked four batter sin 21.2 innings.

All-Star Andrew McCutchen has just five hits in 25 career plate appearances against Wolf with a walk, a triple and three strikeouts. Pedro Alvarez is 3-for-9 against him with two home runs and three RBI.
