Philadelphia Phillies veteran Kyle Kendrick will try to get his first win since the middle of June on Tuesday night when he goes up against Wily Peralta Milwaukee Brewers.

On Thursday, Kyle Kendrick gave up just two runs in his seven innings against the Miami Marlins on the road, but he ended up with a no decision in a game the Phillies ended up winning 5-4. Kendrick allowed six hits in that outing and walked one batter while striking out four. The right-hander is 3-8 on the year with a 4.12 ERA, but he has only given up 0.9 home runs per nine innings.

Kendrick has never liked facing Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun, who has nine hits in 19 at-bats against him with a double, two home runs and seven RBI. Carlos Gomez is just 2-for-12 against Kendrick with a walk and two strikeouts.

Wily Peralta ended his five-game winning streak last week against the Toronto Blue Jays, but he ended up with a no decision rather than a loss. He pitched six innings in that start and gave up four earned runs on nine hits while walking three and striking out four. Through 17 starts, Peralta has a 9-5 record and a solid 3.35 ERA.

Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown has two hits in six at-bats against Peralta with a walk and two strikeouts. No one on the Phillies has hit a home run off of Peralta.
