On Saturday night, Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels will be going for just his fourth win of the year when he faces Aaron Harang and the Atlanta Braves.

Last Saturday, lefty Cole Hamels pitched well against the Washington Nationals, but he had to settle for the no decision in a game the Nats ended up winning 5-3. He went seven innings in that matchups and gave up three runs on four hits while striking out five and walking three. Hamels has struck out 106 batters in 107.1 innings this season and while only giving up eight home runs.

Braves second baseman Dan Uggla has hit three home runs off of Hamels in his career, but he is just 9-for-62 overall against him. Third baseman Chris Johnson is 6-or-17 against the left-hander with a double and an RBI.

In his start against the New York Mets last Saturday, Aaron Harang was able to pitch seven strong innings and pick up his ninth win of the season. He allowed just one earned run on four hits while striking out two hitters and walking four. Harang has been a solid signing for the Braves this season, going 9-6 with a 3.53 ERA.

Harang has never been a fan of facing Phillies outfielder Marlon Byrd, who has nine hits in 20 at-bats against the right-hander with three home runs and six RBI.
