On Wednesday night, Tommy Milone will look to extend his undefeated streak to seven games when the Oakland Athletics take on Jered Weaver and the Los Angeles Angels.

Last Friday, Tommy Milone pitched pretty well against the Baltimore Orioles on the road, but all he could get out of that start was a no decision. He gave up three runs on eight hits to them in six innings of work while striking out three and walking no one. On the year, Milone is 3-3 with a 3.68 ERA and he hasn't lost a game since back on May 3.

Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick is probably looking forward to facing Milone again as he is 10-for-26 against him with a double, two home runs and seven RBI. Josh Hamilton is 9-for-20 against the left-hander with a double, a triple and two home runs.

Jered Weaver was able to pick up his seventh win of the season last Friday when he gave up just two runs against the Chicago White Sox in six innings of work. He allowed five hits in that outing and walked four while striking out a season-high nine batters. Weaver has only given up 70 hits in 84.1 innings this season.

Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp has just nine hits in 54 at-bats against Weaver with 10 strikeouts in their matchups. Shortstop Jed Lowrie is the only player on the A's who has been able to hit a home run off of the veteran right-hander.
