Tommy Milone will be hoping to pick up his first win of the season for the Oakland Athletics when they go up against the Houston Astros, who will be sending Collin McHugh to the mound for the second time this season.

Tommy Milone picked up his second straight no decision when he took on the Texas Rangers last Tuesday. He went six innings in that game and gave up three earned runs on five hits while striking out just one hitter and walking four. He now has a 4.24 ERA through three starts and his WHIP is quite high at 1.529.

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve has faced Milone more than any of his teammates, but is hitting just .231 against him in 13 at-bats. Matt Dominguez has a home run against the lefty, but that was his lone hit in eight matchups.

Collin McHugh made his first start of the season last week and was able to pick up the win against the Seattle Mariners. He pitched 6.2 shutout innings in that one and scattered three hits while striking out 12 and walking none. He pitched better in that game than any of the starts he made in the minors before his call-up.

The Astros have never seen McHugh before, but they can expect to see a 93-95 mph fastball, which he throws nearly 50% of the time, and an 86-87 mph slider, which is his main offspeed pitch.
