All-Star Jeff Samardzija will making his fifth start for the Oakland Athletics when he faces four-game winner Scott Feldman and the Houston Astros on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Jeff Samardzija pitched eight strong innings against the Houston Astros at home and picked up his fourth win of the season. In that game, he allowed one run on five base hits while striking out six hitters and walking no one. Samardzija is now 4-8 on the year, but he has a very good 2.80 ERA and he has only given up 119 hits in 138 innings.

A's outfielder Coco Crisp has five hits in his 12 career at-bats against Feldman with a walk and three RBI. Jed Lowrie is 6-for-12 against him with two doubles and two RBI.
