30-year-old Scott Kazmir will be trying to pick up his sixth win of the season when he and the Oakland Athletics go up against Josh Tomlin and the Cleveland Indians on Saturday night.

Scott Kazmir continued his great start to the season by picking up his fifth win last Sunday when he beat the Washington Nationals. He pitched seven shutout innings in that outing and gave up just four hits and struck out four while walking none. He is now 5-1 with a 2.28 ERA on the season and he's given up just 41 hits in 51.1 innings.

Nick Swisher has struggled against Kazmir in his career by going 5-for-35 with seven strikeouts. Ryan Raburn hasn't done much better against the lefty, notching just three hits in 17 plate appearances.

Josh Tomlin stayed perfect when he beat the Tampa Bay Rays last weekend and picked up his second win in two starts. He pitched six innings in that game and gave up just two earned runs on six hits while striking out two and walking none. He now has a 2.13 ERA through 12.2 innings and has walked only one batter.

A's infielder Alberto Callaspo has faced Tomlin more than any of the other Athletics and doesn't have a hit in any of his nine at-bats. John Jaso has just two hits against him in eight career at-bats.
