Jon Lester (13-10) will try to stop his losing streak a two games when he and the Oakland Athletics face Chicago White Sox left-hander John Danks (9-10) on Tuesday night.

Left-hander Jon Lester pitched well enough to get the win over the Seattle Mariners last Wednesday, but he ended up taking the loss after getting just one run from his offense. Lester went eight innings in that start and gave up just two runs while walking no one and striking out five. He now has a 2.54 ERA on the year and he has struck out 191 batters in 191.2 innings.

White Sox veteran Paul Konerko is 10-for-31 against Lester in his career with three doubles, three home runs and seven RBI. Moises Sierra is just 1-for-10 against him with two walks and four strikeouts.

Last week, John Danks only made it through 4.2 innings against the Minnesota Twins on the road and picked up the loss. He gave up seven earned runs in that outing while striking out three hitters and walking one. Danks had his ERA rise to 5.12 with that loss and he has given up 10.1 hits per nine innings this season.

A's infielder Alberto Callaspo is 5-for-9 against Danks in his career with a walk and three RBI. Jed Lowrie is 0-for-12 against the lefty with three walks and four strikeouts.
