Both Vidal Nuno and Hector Santiago will be attempting to pick up their first wins of the season when the New York Yankees face the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday night.

Vidal Nuno didn't pick up the loss against the Tampa Bay Rays last Friday, but he was only able to make it through 4.2 innings in the game and gave up four runs. He gave up five hits in the game and struck out two batters while walking three. His ERA is now 6.87, so he may not be in the Yankees' rotation much longer.

Angels' superstar Mike Trout has only faced Nuno three times so far in his career, but he's shown that he can hit him by going 1-for-2 with a home run and a walk.

Hector Santiago remained winless when he picked up his league-leading fifth loss of the season last Friday against the Texas Rangers. He was able to make it through six innings in that game, but he gave up a season-high five earned runs off of seven hits while striking out five and walking two. He's struck out 28 batters in 32.1 innings this year, but he's also walked 15.

Alfonso Soriano seems to really like facing Santiago, going 4-for-9 against him with two home runs and three RBI. Derek Jeter is 3-for-5 against the 26-year-old lefty with a home run.
