The Yankees are hoping the April 1st game against Houston doesn't have them looking like April Fools in losing to the worst team in baseball from a season ago. The Yankees have retooled once again and will settle for nothing less than a World Championship, while climbing out of the AL West cellar might even be too lofty of a goal for the Astros.

CC Sabathia heads to the mound for Joe Girardi to start the season. Sabathia needs a little bounce back year after posting double digit losses for the first time since 2007 after a 14-13 record in 2013. Sabathia's 4.78 ERA was the highest of his career, which could lead some to believe that the 33-year-old is in the decline of his career. Sabathia looks to battle Father Time though as he's reportedly slimmer and stronger heading into 2014.

Houston's starter to begin 2014 is 6'7” Scott Feldman, who comes over from Baltimore. Feldman started 30 games a year ago between the Orioles and Cubs and posted a combined 12-12 record. The right-hander's ERA surged when he came over to the American League, climbing from 3.46 to 4.27. Feldman did make two starts against the Yankees a year ago, finishing 0-1 but allowing just 4ER and pitching 7 full innings both games.
