On Wednesday, Esmil Rogers (2-0) will make just his second start for the New York Yankees when he takes on Chris Tillman (9-5) and the Baltimore Orioles.

Right-hander Esmil Rogers pitched well against the Cleveland Indians last Friday and was able to pick up his second win of the year. He went five innings in that start and allowed just one run on fur base hits while walking one and striking out three. He currently has a 5.16 ERA on the season, but he has pitched a lot better since joining the Yankees.

Orioles first baseman Chris Davis has four hits in 12 plate appearances versus Rogers with two doubles, a home run and two RBI. Shortstop J.J. Hardy is just 3-for-15 against him with a walk and two strikeouts.

Chris Tillman was able to win his second game in a row last week when he defeated the St. Louis Cardinals at home. He pitched 6.2 innings in that game and allowed two runs on four hits while striking out seven batters and walking one. He currently owns a 3.73 ERA on the year and has struck out 102 batters in 149.2 innings.

Yankees outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury is 7-for-42 against Tillman in his career with two doubles and a home run. Future Hall of Famer Ichiro Suzuki is just 4-for-24 against him with no walks and two strikeouts.
