On Monday night, veteran right-hander Bartolo Colon and the New York Mets will be facing Roberto Hernandez and the Philadelphia Phillies in the final game of their four-game series.

Last Wednesday, Bartolo Colon won his fourth game of the season when he pitched 7.1 scoreless innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates at home. He allowed only five hits in that outing and struck out a season-high nine batters while walking just one. He now owns a 4-5 record this season with a 4.73 ERA and he has given up 76 hits in 64.2 innings of work.

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has five hits in 15 at-bats against Colon with a double, a home run and two RBI. First baseman Ryan Howard has hit home runs in his only two at-bats against Colon.

33-year-old Roberto Hernandez ended up with a no decision last week against the Colorado Rockies after giving up two earned runs in 5.2 innings of work. He allowed six hits in that short start while walking five batters and striking out four. Hernandez has a 3.76 ERA this season, but he hasn't picked up a win since back on May 4.

Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson has a whopping 18 hits in 43 at-bats against Hernandez in his career with four doubles, three triples and three home runs. Chris Young is hitless against him in five career at-bats.
