On Monday afternoon, Jonathon Niese (5-8) will try to end his current four-game losing streak when he and the New York Mets take on David Buchanan (6-5) and the Philadelphia Phillies.

In his last start, Jonathon Niese gave up six runs in six innings to the Washington Nationals and ended up taking the loss. Mets outfielder Juan Lagares has one hit in his four at-bats against Buchanan with a double and no strikeouts. None of the Mets have faced Buchanan more than four times in their careers.
