Dominican right-hander Jenrry Mejia will be going for his second win of the season when the New York Mets face the struggling Randall Delgado and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Jenrry Mejia went up against the Atlanta Braves in his second start of the season and came away with the no-decision after going five innings and giving up four earned runs. The 24-year-old struck out seven, but he also walked four and gave up two home runs in the game. His ERA now sits at 4.09 for the season.

Diamondbacks third baseman Martin Prado is the only player on his team who has faced Mejia in his career. Mejia has done well in their matchups and has been able to keep Prado hitless in four plate appearances.

Randall Delgado had his second straight poor outing for Arizona when he faced the Giants last Thursday. He could only go 3.1 innings in the game and gave up three runs on six hits without striking anyone out. Delgado has now given up 17 hits in eight innings on the season and his ERA sits at 10.13.

Delgado will be hoping that the Mets decide to put Omar Quintanilla in their lineup because he has struck him out all three times that they have gone up against each other. David Wright and Josh Satin have both hit one home run off of the big righty.
