Sunday afternoon, Phil Hughes will get the call for the Minnesota Twins as they face Chase Whitley and the New York Yankees. It will be Hughes’ 11th start and Whitley’s 4th.

Despite lacking a decision, the rookie right-hander has looked pretty good so far this season in the big leagues and in the minors.  At Triple-A Scranton this season, Whitley was 3 – 2 with a 2.39 ERA in 6 starts and 1 relief appearance before getting the call to New York.
