On Tuesday night, right-hander Samuel Deduno will be getting the start for the Minnesota Twins and will be going up against Yovani Gallardo and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Samuel Deduno didn't end up getting a decision against the Texas Rangers last week after going 5.1 innings against them and giving up four earned runs. He allowed nine hits in that start and struck out two batters while walking one. Through 12 starts Deduno has a 1-3 record and a 3.86 ERA and has given up just two homers in 46.2 innings of work.

Power hitter Mark Reynolds has faced Deduno five times in his career and has two his and an RBI off of him. Outfielder Carlos Gomez is 2-for-3 against him with a double.

Veteran Yovani Gallardo won his third game of the year last week when he was able to defeat the Baltimore Orioles at home. He went 6.2 innings in that start and allowed three earned runs on four hits while walking five and striking out five. Through 65.2 innings this season, Gallardo has given up 59 hits and has struck out 46 batters.

Jason Kubel is one player on the Twins who likes facing Gallardo, going 6-for-15 against him with a double, a home run and three RBI. Josh Willingham has three hits in 10 at-bats against the right-hander with a home run and four strikeouts.
