On Tuesday night, big right-hander Kyle Gibson will try to get his seventh win of the season when the Minnesota Twins take on C.J. Wilson and the Los Angeles Angels.

Second-year starter Kyle Gibson pitched seven scoreless innings against the Boston Red Sox on the road last week, but he ended up with just a no decision in a game the Twins lost 2-1. He gave up just one run in those seven innings of work and he struck out a season-high eight batters without walking anyone. Through 83 innings this year, Gibson is 6-5 with a solid 3.25 ERA and he has only given up four home runs.

Angels first baseman Albert Pujols has two hits in his three at-bats against Gibson with a home run and one strikeout. Collin Cowgill is 0-for-2 against him and was struck out in both at-bats.

Angels lefty C.J. Wilson had a solid outing against the Cleveland Indians on the road last week, but all he got for his efforts was a no decision. He allowed just one run on three hits in seven innings of work while walking four and striking out six. Wilson is 7-6 this season with a 3.34 ERA and he has only given up 76 hits in 99.2 innings.

Twins veteran Josh Willingham has eight hits in 24 at-bats against Wilson with three doubles, two home runs and six RBI.
