Minnesota Twins pitcher Yohan Pino will be making his second Major League start on Wednesday night when he faces Garrett Richards and the Los Angeles Angels.

Right-hander Yohan Pino made the first big league start of his career last Thursday against the Chicago White Sox and ended up getting a no decision out of it. He pitched seven innings in that start and allowed just two runs on five hits while walking just one batter and striking out seven. He induced 14 fly balls and four grounders in that game.

The Angels' right-handed batters probably aren't looking forward to facing Pino after he held the White Sox right-handed batters to a .077 batting average in 13 at-bats.

26-year-old Garrett Richards had a nice outing against the Texas Rangers on Friday when he went six innings and gave up just one run on his way to picking up his seventh win of the year. He gave up four hits in that start and walked three batters while striking out seven. Richards is now 7-2 through 15 starts and he has allowed just two home runs in 93.2 innings of work.

Twins first baseman Kendrys Morales has gone up against Richards more than any of his teammates, but he is just 2-for-10 against him with a home run, two RBI and a strikeout. Brian Dozier and Pedro Florimon are the only other Twins who have faced him.
