Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio will be home to the final game of the weekend series between the American League Central division rival Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins on Sunday. The Twins will send their new starter Ricky Nolasco to the mound while the Indians will counter with Justin Masterson.

In his first start of the season, the former Miami Marlin and Los Angeles Dodger Nolasco was roughed up. In six innings, he allowed 10 hits and two walks, while allowing five earned runs and striking out five. He will look to bounce back against the Indians. There are just four active Cleveland players that have faced Nolasco, with Michael Bourn (9-for-34) and Nyjer Morgan (4-for-14) getting the majority of the at bats.

Masterson had an up and down 2013 season and will need to be more consistent in 2014 if the Indians want to improve on their performance from a year ago. He was 14-10 a year ago with a 3.45 ERA, while recording 195 strikeouts in 193 innings. In his first start this season, he threw seven shutout innings with just three hits and one walk allowed, while recording four strikeouts. He registered a no decision in the start and will look to continue his success against the current members of the Twins. Brian Dozier has the best average of any Twin at .545 (6-for-11), but Joe Mauer is hitting .229 and Jason Bartlett, Kurt Suzuki and John Willingham all have sub-.200 averages.
