Rookie Yohan Pino (1-3) will be making his eighth start for the Minnesota Twins on Saturday night when they face Scott Carroll (4-6) and the Chicago White Sox.

Yohan Pino pitched well enough to get the win over the Chicago White Sox in his last start, but he ended up with just a no decision. He allowed just two runs in six innings of work that day while walking one and striking out six. On the season, Pino now has a 4.38 ERA and he has struck out 30 batters in his first 39 innings in the majors.

White Sox rookie Jose Abreu is 1-for-5 against Pino with a double, an RBI and two strikeouts. Adam Eaton is 2-for-6 against him, but he has also been struck out by the right-hander three times.

Rookie Scott Carroll made his 17th start of the year against the Minnesota Twins on the road and ended up taking the no decision. He did pitch well in that game, though, bu allowing just one run in six innings of work while striking out four and walking one. He now has a 4.29 ERA this season, but he has given up 91 hits in 79.2 innings.

Twins outfielder Oswaldo Arcia has no hits in his five at-bats against Carroll and has been struck out three times. Danny Santana is 1-for-4 against him with a triple and an RBI.
