Matt Garza will be going for his second straight win when he and the Milwaukee Brewers face Shelby Miller and the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday afternoon.

In his fifth start last Friday, Matt Garza was finally able to pick up his first win of the season by beating the Chicago Cubs. He went seven innings in that game and gave up just two runs on four hits while striking out seven and walking one. He lowered his ERA to 4.09 on the year and now has a 7.1 K/9 and a low 2.2 BB/9.

Jhonny Peralta has faced Garza 28 times in his career and has done quite well by getting 13 hits, including two doubles and a home run. Jon Jay has done even better than that against the veteran right-hander by going 7-for-12 with a double, a home run and three RBI.

Shelby Miller got his second win of the season last Friday when he was able to go 5.2 shutout innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He did walk four batters in that game, but he gave up just three hits and struck out four. Miller's high walk rate on the season gives him a 5.62 FIP, but most of those walks haven't hurt him and he now has a 2.86 ERA.

Aramis Ramirez has faced Miller 15 times and has six hits against him, including two home runs. Jonathan Lucroy has just four hits in 14 at-bats against Miller without an extra-base hit.
