Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Kyle Lohse (11-5) will look to continue his hot streak on Sunday afternoon when he faces Lance Lynn (11-8) and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Kyle Lohse pitched pretty well against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road on Monday, but he took the loss after getting just one run from his offense. He allowed two runs in six innings of work that day and walked three batters while striking out six. He has only given up 133 hits in 146.2 innings this year and currently owns a solid 3.07 ERA.

Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday has eight hits in 23 at-bats against Lohse with a double, a home run and three RBI. Matt Carpenter has just one hit in 11 at-bats against him with a walk and three strikeouts.

Big right-hander Lance Lynn lost his second game in a row on Tuesday when he was defeated by the San Diego Padres on the road. He pitched six innings in that start and allowed two runs (one earned) on four base hits while striking out six hitters and walking three. Lynn still has an excellent 2.98 ERA on the year and he has only given up seven home runs in 133 innings on the mound.

Brewers star Ryan Braun has four hits in 13 at-bats against Lynn with a home run and three RBI, while Scooter Gennett has five hits in 11 at-bats against him with three walks and two doubles.
