On Sunday afternoon, Madison Bumgarner (15-9) will go for his third consecutive win for the San Francisco Giants when they take on Kyle Lohse (12-7) and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Left-hander Madison Bumgarner pitched his second shutout of the season last week when he was able to defeat the Colorado Rockies at home. He gave up just one run in that outing and walking no one while striking out a season-high 13 batters. Bumgarner now has a 3.02 ERA after that win and he has only given up 163 hits in 185 innings of work.

Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun has six hits in his 17 at-bats versus Bumgarner with two doubles, two home runs and three RBI. Outfielder Gerardo Parra is just 2-for-15 against him in his career with two walks and five strikeouts.

Last week, Kyle Lohse gave up just one run in six innings to the San Diego Padres and finished with the win. He gave up four hits in that outing and struck out five batters while walking four. Lohse has a 3.42 ERA in his second year with the Brewers and he has only walked 2.1 batters per nine innings this season.

Giants outfielder Michael Morse has seven hits in 17 at-bats against Lohse in his career with three doubles, a home run and five RBI. Gregor Blanco is just 1-for-5 against him with no walks and two strikeouts.
