Wily Peralta (15-8), who is coming off of one of his worst starts of the season, will get the start for the Milwaukee Brewers when they go up against Ryan Vogelsong (7-9) and the San Francisco Giants on Friday.

Last Saturday, Wily Peralta had a bad outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates and ended up taking the loss. He pitched five innings in that start and allowed eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits while striking out five batters and walking three. Peralta still has a pretty good 3.56 ERA on the season and he has only walked 2.7 batters per nine innings.

Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford has three hits in seven at-bats against Peralta in his career with a solo home run and two strikeouts. Outfielder Hunter Pence is 1-for-8 against him with two strikeouts and an RBI.

Veteran right-hander Ryan Vogelsong went 5.1 innings against the Washington Nationals on Sunday and finished with a no decision. He gave up four runs on three base hits in that outing while striking out three batters and walking four. Vogelsong has struck out 121 batters in 150 innings this year and now has a 3.78 ERA.

Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez has eight hits in 21 at-bats against Vogelsong in his career with two solo home runs. Veteran Lyle Overbay is just 1-for-10 against him with three walks and six strikeouts.
