Wily Peralta will be on the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night and will be facing rookie Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets.

Last Thursday, Wily Peralta picked up his fifth win of the year when he beat the Minnesota Twins on the road, but he didn't necessarily have a good game. He went just five innings in that one and allowed four runs on five hits while striking out four and walking three. Peralta has struck out 58 batters in 74.1 innings this season and has walked only 21.

Peralta has only gone up against four of the players that are on the Mets' current rosters. Those players are 0-for-12 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.

26-year-old Jacob deGrom didn't end up taking the loss in his outing against the Chicago Cubs last week, but he did give up four earned runs in his five innings of work that day. He allowed five hits in that game and struck out three while walking three. So far this season, he has only given up 21 hits in 31 innings and has struck out 28 hitters.

All of the Brewers will be facing deGrom for the first time on Wednesday night. Right-handed hitters have had a tough time against him this year as he has held them to a .170 batting average through 53 at-bats.
